This interview will be driven by your questions! Let us know *before* the interview what is holding you back in your business, where you’d like to go.

And by ‘holding you back’, we mean what’s obvious to you (hey, I just don’t have the business skills, marketing skills, expertise, …) but also the not so obvious. The things where you tell yourself, “I’m no good at XYZ….”. An example would be “I just don’t have any ideas of how to make my marketing exciting” (although you all should after listening to Margo’s call!).

So, have a quick think and let us know!

looking forward to having you on the call

  1. Erink Says:

I would like to overcome my messy tendencies. It seems no matter what I do, I leave things in a mess and can never find my bills, or make others lives a mess. I would like to learn how to be a tidy person literally and figuratively.

  2. Angela Says:

Personally, I have a difficult time focusing and organizing. I own a t-shirt shop online and I tend to do lots of work in a short period of time (maybeadding a whole new series of designs in a day or two), but then let it go to seed for months at a time when I know that I need to be adding things and making the site cleaner and more efficient.

  3. cangel Says:

I have great organizational skills in the beginning of things but I lose interest easily. I start things but get easily side tracked. I need help in allocating time to specific projects and staying on task.

  4. Kim Says:

I have a lot of trouble following through. I start a LOT of projects, but let them die in the research phase. It’s not that they’re bad ideas or anything, I just find something else to start working on and then start on that. I’d love to learn how to overcome this.

  5. Otto Siegel Says:

    Dear Erik,
Messiness can send a strong message that your brain and nervous system (the inner game)might be open for guidance and purpose so your inner genius can express itself more freely and specifically. There is much more to this…

  6. Otto Siegel Says:

    Dear Angela, Cangel and Kim,
Thank you so much for opening these true genius-blockers. They are like a little rock in your shoe - annoying but not life threatening. They always mean to have a closer look into the root causes on the inside and address them from there instead of fighting the symptoms. They actually always mean some under-used capabilities and want to be explored in more detail.

  7. Terry Ray Says:

Currently I am an independent contractor. My biggest obstacle is finding ways to keep my business consistent. There are weeks Im really busy and weeks Im extremely slow. Sometimes its because of my own life situation. (Illness’ that occur, breakdowns in equipment, etc. just general unforseen obstacles preventing me from getting ahead)

  8. Brent Says:

Having enough time in the day is the source of my weakness. Sleeping 31 hours/wk,36 hours of family time,Working 33 hours third shift, 10 hours 2nd shift to support my family while trying to maintain two corporations in a down market has become difficult and is leaving me a bit braindead.

  9. Gerri Says:

I have all I need to launch a business on the internet except how to get people to my web site. I have tried to follow others suggestions but they start out with an easy to follow outline but when you click on one of the simple options for further instructions it gets complicated.

  10. Noel Says:

I tend to stay with business strategies that are not working for way too long! It’s as if I can’t admit a mistake. Instead I kind of freeze and deny the problem even to myself.

  11. Pat Says:

I would like to overcome my lack of aggressiveness. i a am at a standstill in my job hunt and do not know what to do next.

  12. Rebecca Says:

I would like to overcome my inability to say no. I can’t seem to say no, and then I end up taking on too much at one time. I would like to learn how to keep people happy while not stretching myself too thin.

  13. Viva Says:

I get satisfactory performance evaluations but I do not know how to get a rating higher than that.

  14. Candace Says:

My biggest problem is follow up. I will talk to someone about my business and even if they are interested I don’t follow up with them to give them more information. Even if I write it down on my planner to call them in a few days I don’t do it. I know I have lost a lot of potential clients because of this.

  15. Amber Says:

I’m a small business owner and I have found it difficult to get my business out there for for people to see. Part of the reason is I don’t have the guts to speak up much. I have read books and articles about standing up and being heard. I’m very interested in this.
